Shrader, Daniel and Meredith

Serving through Denton Bible Church since 2010

The Shraders are presently focused on church revitalization. Daniel is the pastor of West Hills Baptist Church, a typical bible-belt Southern Baptist church that had declined to just a handful of senior adults. Under his leadership, the church has launched The Garden of Hope, which will be a grow-your-own community garden. The garden will give church members the opportunity to meet and build relationships with lost people over an entire growing season. In addition to pastoring WHBC, Daniel trains and encourages other pastors and church leaders through the local Seminary Extension and other local opportunities that encourage church revitalization. He also helps oversee Mountain Vision Ministries and Outside the Camp, local outreach ministries focused on serving and sharing the gospel with the materially poor.
