Purpose of the trip:

  • Austria To reach out to the great Austrian youth community through ETC (English Teenager Camp), for the glory of God; to partner with the Austrian team to enhance their ongoing ministry to the Austrian people; and to help expand the understanding of all believers – Austrian and American, of our call to participate in God’s global work.
  • DBC To glorify God, to share the gospel, to grow the love for God in ourselves and internationals, to grow unity among our team through friendships of care, to expose as many people from DBC as possible to short-term missions, and to experience growth toward Christian maturity by developing new ministry skills.

Type of Trip:

We will be uniting with the Austrian Team to plan camp and be counselors to the students at ETC (English Teenager Camp). At camp, we will be running camp activities, leading small groups, sharing how to have a quiet time and sharing testimonies. Campers at ETC can range from Austrians to Arminian Refugees to students from surrounding countries.

Who Can Go On This Trip:

This trip is open to high school juniors and seniors only of Denton Bible Student Ministries.


The total expense for the trip is $2,600 per person. This includes airfare, lodging, meals, supplies, ground transport, insurance, ministry supplies, and more. We will raise the money for this trip through support letters and fundraisers.


When in Vienna, we will stay at a church that Russ Clowdus (DBC missionary) is involved with. At ETC camp, we will be in a type of Youth Hostel in the small town of Wagrain, Austria.
